Ersen Sariozkan
Ersen Sariozkan is a Belgian street photographer who has been dedicated to this discipline since 2016.
Through his travels, he captures moments of life. Influenced by the great masters of photography, he views this discipline as a vast book in which he positions himself as a witness to a moment, an instant, an era.
Through his lens, he seeks to capture fragments of reality and silent stories. He favors long-term projects, having wandered the streets of the Pearl of the Antilles (Cuba) for four years. For the past five years, he has been working on a street photography project in Mexico, a country from which he cannot detach himself, as he finds it both fascinating and magnificent. Recently, he began a series on Istanbul.
His camera is an extension of his gaze, allowing him to capture scenes where time seems suspended.
Ersen has been a finalist in various competitions. He has also exhibited several times in Belgium and had the honor of presenting his work at the European Photography Festival in Milan, where his photos of New York and Cuba were showcased.
