Discover the BSPF 2023 winners
Now the Brussels Street Photography Festival has come to a close, we can announce the winners of this year's edition. You, the visitors, chose two awards to be handed out. But the main event are the six jury prizes. This jury consisted of Ilvy Njiokiktjien, Mary Gelman, Sebastian Steveniers, Sébastien Van Malleghem & Joachim Naudts. They selected winners in the Series and Singles, but they also chose the winner of the Brussels Award, which goes to a shot taken in Brussels itself.
Singles
The first prize of the Singles competition goes to Armin Graca, with a picture of the 2021 flash flooding in Sarajevo. The second prize is for Dewang Gupta with a dynamic (and also rainy) shot.
Series
First Prize in the Series competition is Md Enamul Kabir with the colorful 'To Be Or Not To Be'. Second prize goes to Jonathan Jasberg with 'Cairo: A Beautiful Thing Is Never Perfect'. There's an Honorable Mention for Argus Paul Estabrook's Series 'Fare Adjustment'.
Brussels Award
The Brussels Award winner is Merlin Meuris.
Audience Award
The Audience Award winner in the Series is Piti Amraranga with 'Last Roll'. The votes for the Singles were a three-way tie. So the Audience Award winners in the Singles are Akhil Babu, Dennis Gloth and Serkan Tekin.
